Event Debrief: Precision Medicine vs. Population Health: Working Towards a Common Goal

The April event, Precision Medicine vs Population Health: Working Towards a Common Goal featured a panel discussion moderated by Meghana our Head of Operations, with speakers: Spencer Pratt of Carrot Health, Michelle Chaffee of Alska, and Jason Ross of OneOme. Some highlights from the event included great conversation about how startups in both precision medicine and population health can collaborate with one another, how both fields are approaching privacy concerns around data, and how precision medicine and population health initiatives can be integrated into the traditional healthcare system so as to reach a larger, more diverse patient pool.

A huge thank you to TreeHouse Health for hosting the event and an even bigger thank you to our members for asking such insightful questions and sparking valuable discussion! We hope this event was able to shed some light on where precision medicine and population health are heading and the role innovators and startups play in this movement.
