Purpose
Andre is the Owner and Administrator at Best Home Care, a non-medical home care provider in North Saint Paul, Minnesota, providing PCA and homemaking services to people of all ages. Andre also works as the Principal at PCA Partners. PCA Partners provides consultation to a number of PCA agencies in Minnesota on policies and operations related to the home care industry.
Over the last several years, PCA Partners has developed an electronic visit verification software (EVV) called “Homecare Timesheets,” which has been piloted throughout 2016 in Minnesota home care agencies. This team is now launching a “PCA On Demand” app to let home care recipients request services using mobile devices and connect with caregivers in hopes the service will positively impact PCA staffing shortages in Minnesota and across the country.
As a home care provider, Best Home Care strives to help people live at home independently and to provide fair treatment and wages to caregivers. The organization is committed to implementing and developing technology that improves the quality of home care service.
Andre hopes to find mentorship in product introduction and marketing through Healthcare.mn.

Most Anticipated Health Innovations
There is so much opportunity to create new tools and solutions for providing better care. There is so much that can still be done, and this is especially true of home healthcare.
I believe the biggest opportunities are in home healthcare and in bringing the same quality of care, accountability and technology to the home. All types of healthcare are increasingly being delivered in the home of the recipient, and I believe this trend will continue to grow.
