Healthcare.mn is looking for passionate and curious folks to join our volunteer team.

Open Positions:

 

Operations Director

Responsibilities:

  • Internal operations of the organization – 30%
    • Organizing, running, and creating agendas for executive team meetings
    • Keeping executive team on track and accountable
  • Serving as main contact for members – 45%
  • Shadowing CEO – 5%
  • Attending events in person in Minnesota – 10%

Characteristics/Skills:

  • Local to Minneapolis with flexible schedule to attend events and meet with members
  • Strong management and leadership experience
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Experience or strong interest in healthcare
  • Strong desire to learn and be exposed to healthcare network in Minnesota
  • Ability to learn quickly and adapt to changing needs of the organization

Commitment:

  • 1 year, preference for an additional year (potentially as CEO)
  • 10 hrs/month

 

Content and Communications Director

Responsibilities:

  • Creating and executing social media strategy – 50%
  • Identifying topics and content to include in monthly newsletter – 30%
  • Creating visual branding for events and/or materials – 10%
  • Owning the content on the website – 10%

Characteristics/Skills:

  • Skilled in Twitter, Facebook, and LinkedIn
  • Working knowledge of WordPress
  • Social Media analytics
  • Strong writing skills
  • Prior leadership and management experience
  • Visual branding experience

Commitment:

  • 1 year commitment
  • 5-10hrs/month

 

Data and Research Director

Responsibilities:

  • Managing membership and startup database – 40%
  • Facilitating matchmaking (both digital in person) – 40%
  • Analyzing industry and membership trends to inform event programming – 20%

Characteristics/Skills:

  • Local to Minneapolis
  • Experience with data collection and maintenance
  • Strong project management experience
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills
  • Strong desire to learn and be exposed to healthcare network in Minnesota
  • Ability to research and propose new tools, methodologies, etc…

Commitment:

  • 1 year commitment
  • 5-10 hrs/month
