[Member Spotlight] Kathrine Frey, MD

Kathrine Frey, MD is the founder and CEO of the Patient Readiness Institute(PRI), a care management software and services company that manages patients in the setting of complex surgeries and chronic illnesses where low blood counts are common, clinically significant and costly. The service, a virtual secondary anemia management program, is in use at several Twin Cities hospitals and a large surgical specialty group. PRI recently formed a partnership with the Biomedical Services division of the American Red Cross to offer the service to their hospital customers throughout the US.  Kathrine is interested in connecting with disruptive innovators with experience in scaling medical companies and navigating growth capital acquisition.  Her areas of expertise include healthcare process redesign, high reliability industrial principles and human factors engineering.  Kathrine is a doctor of Anatomic and Clinical Pathology.
